JarWorlds Privacy Policy

In short: no account, no ads and no tracking. Your progress stays on your device. The game counts a few anonymous totals so we can make it better, and none of them can identify you.

Who we are

JarWorlds (the game at jarworlds.app and the JarWorlds apps for iPhone and Android) is made by FBG START LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12093391. Contact: contact@jarworlds.app.

What stays on your device

Your game progress, scores, boosters and settings are saved only in your device's storage. We don't receive them. Deleting the app, or clearing the website's data in your browser, deletes them.

Anonymous game statistics

The game adds to simple daily totals in our database, which runs on Google Firebase. Examples:

• a game was opened, a world was started or completed, an item was reached
• a booster was used, the booster pack was shown or bought
• minutes played, counted in steps (for example "10 minutes or more")
• which version was used (website, iPhone app or Android app) and the link it came from, if the link carried a source tag

These totals contain no name, email address, account, device ID, advertising ID or location, and they can't be linked back to you. We don't use cookies. To deliver each update, Google's servers receive your IP address, as any web server does. We don't store it.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details. The app receives a confirmation code for each purchase and keeps it on your device, only to make sure your boosters are delivered exactly once.

Children

JarWorlds doesn't ask anyone for personal information, including children.

Sharing and selling

We don't sell or share personal data. We don't collect any.

Your rights

Because we don't hold personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct or delete. To remove your progress, delete the app or clear the website's data. If you have a question or a request, email contact@jarworlds.app. You can also contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We reserve the right to change this policy at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they're posted on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last updated.
